Trunk Extension

STRENGTHENING – 5 :
Trunk Extensors

Lie on firm surface or knee over ball. Lift one arm and opposite leg keeping elbow and knee straight. Then reverse.

Hold __ seconds. Repeat __ times.

Do __ sessions per day.

CAUTION: Use slow, controlled movement.

STRENGTHENING – 6 :
Trunk Extensors: Mid – Thoracic

Sit on heels, head between arms. Try to lift both arms at the same time, keeping head between arms and bottom on heels.

If unable, lift one arm at a time.

Hold __ seconds. Repeat __ times.

Do __ sessions per day.

May also be done over a therapy ball.
